Benazir Bhutto was the Prime Minister of Pakistan until she was sent into exile by a Muslim sect that was hostile to her family. She did return to Pakistan and make an effort to reclaim her good influence; however, she ultimately lost her life through assassination, purportedly ordered by Osama Bin Laden. Before she died her book, "Reconciliation," was published. I was grateful for the chance to do her portrait with quotation at the top for the exhibition at Woman Made Gallery previously mentioned, "Dreaming Bigger in Strange Times." I found her strength, courage and resolve very inspiring.
