This mixed-media work was commissioned by Zoe and Harold Schuitmaker from Lawton, Michigan, long-time friends and collectors of my work. It was the very first collaborative painting that my sculptor husband, Geoffrey Novelli, and I completed together. Zoe is a marriage counsellor, and she commissioned the work in celebration of our marriage on August 22, 2010.
