This is a portrait of a cat I once owned named Precious. She was a very pesky calico, and loved to sneak into my closet and grab my feather boas and masks. One day I opened the closet door and she had a boa around her neck. Totally enchanted, I grabbed her and started taking photos. This work was exhibited at a show of animal art at Mars Gallery in Chicago in 2006 curated by Kim Laurel and Fletcher Hayes. It sold at the 45th Annual Pilsen East Artists' Open House.
