With my back to the Rhine river, I sat on a bench on a moonlit night at the end of Petersgraben Street in Basel and painted this scene. It was a great challenge to create the effect of moonlight on buildings! This work was purchased by Glen Cope, Provost of University of Missouri in St. Louis.
