An embellishment on a smaller version painted on black museum board, this painting dramatizes the discrepancy between the way my upstairs tenants have lived and the quiet elegance I have tried to maintain downstairs at intervals. The rabbit, Sulki, was a pet owned by a tenant I was very fond of. Admittedly, the pervasive scent was a bit unsettling. This was from my "Lessons from a House" series for which I received a
