This 3-dimensional folding screen (front side) depicts a now-demolished home in Pilsen that was at 1415 West 16th Street. The owner, an older Mexican gentleman named Daniel, was a recluse who apparently collectied anything and everything under the sun. This is not an exaggeration of his front yard. The most bizarre elements were the soccer balls up on the posts and the carousel figures everywhere. I am grateful to have immortalized his collection -- someone had to do it!
