"Victory Dance" is in the collection of my friends, Zoe and Harold Schuitmaker. It was a tribute to my parents after they passed away. In working on this abstract mixed-media work I contemplated my father's role as a Lieutentant Commander of a destroyer in the Pacific Theatre during World War II and my mother's prayers to keep him and the others on his ship alive and safe.
